The Game

What is Throwball?

A fast, non-contact court sport played over a net — part volleyball reflexes, part strategy, all teamwork. Easy to learn, thrilling to master.

7

Players Per Side

Seven players take the court for each team, with rolling substitutions allowed throughout the match.

Throwball is built for teams — every position matters, and coordination between players is the key to victory. Played on a standard volleyball-sized court with distinct service zones.
25

Points Per Set

Rally scoring to 25 with a 2-point advantage required — every play counts.

3

Sets Per Match

Best of three sets under international ITF rules, teams switch ends after each set.

2

Catch & Throw

Catch cleanly, return within seconds — no holds, no double touches. Pure reflexes.

For Everyone

All ages and skill levels welcome — from youth leagues to masters categories.
